I stayed at Casa Faena for only one night of my 5 day vacation. I was looking forward to experience the hotel and the Faena District. The Hotel itself is a part of the "National Register of Historic Places", so it is definitely older and a bit dated in some ways, but that is part of the charm! I upgraded my room to a balcony suite (Room 20) and it was very large in size! Decorated with a comfortable, Mediterranean vibe. Bed was firm but not uncomfortable. Loved the double french doors and flowy curtains to my balcony. I slept with the doors open! The staff assisted me when needed but definitely noticed some short comings and lack of communication between the staff. The hotel is a quick block away from the beach and the hotel offers an umbrella and folding chairs, towels and water to take with you. It was in a very quiet, clean and relaxing part of the beach. I did not utilize the hotel restaurant or the bar during my stay so I cannot comment on that. I explored the pretty rooftop bar but it wasn't open for use. There is also no hotel pool. I did enjoy my stay as it was only one night and I would consider staying here again for the value and reasonable price point.

I love the fact that hotel was the first home for where Faena hotels started.. and it goes back to 1928 now its one of the historical hotels of america. it has a cool vibe, the Faena fragrance all over the hotel gives extra touch. Double room was great, apart of crows in the morning chirping under the windows which was annoying but couldnt do anything about it. A lot of people saying music is too loud, well, i didnt hear a thing, but maybe because i was staying at the end of the building, because rooftop is upfront of the building.

Beautiful boutique hotel, super friendly staff with a positive attitude. Was warned my room would get very loud at night but I was out for 3 out of 4 nights so only noticed the noise and music level on one night, which was a lot. But frankly it was only 1 hr of my time in bed and because of the great rate they offer, I understand why my room was perhaps cheaper than it should have been.

Very clean! Whatever we needed, staff made sure to help us. They were really amazing! We felt good being surrounded by a staff who is professional. They give chairs, umbrella, towels and water to take to the beach (packed in a way easy to carry).

This is a very charming boutique hotel near the beach. Loved the beautiful boho decor. The staff were very warm and helpful. Comfortable bed plus beach chairs and towels.
